Upcoming Sermon Series

As we approach the end of yet another summer season, many of us are gearing up to get back into the routine of life. Some may be eagerly anticipating the return to school for the kids—yay!—and the start of college football on August 24th, or even the thrill of hunting season.

For others, however, the prospect of the upcoming season might not be quite as exciting. The thought of diving back into the "rat race" of daily routines—meals, doctor appointments, and the constant hustle—can feel overwhelming and monotonous.

Does this sound familiar? If it does, know that there is another option.

I want to warmly invite you to join us for a new 6-week sermon series titled

“Who Moved My Cheese?”, beginning on August 4th.

This sermon series draws inspiration from Spencer Johnson's well-known book of the same name. However, our series will be firmly rooted in Biblical teachings. Our aim is to encourage you to awaken to the reality that we are called to be new creations in Christ. As Scripture tells us in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!"

While we will explore themes from Johnson's work, the series will be deeply grounded in Scripture. We hope to spark your curiosity and imagination, helping you to reflect on and reveal the transformative love of Christ in all that you do.

For more information, please visit our website—link is down below. I encourage you to check it out and consider joining us for this enlightening journey.

Lastly, we invite you to share this article or video with a friend. We believe this new sermon series will offer valuable insights and encouragement to everyone.

*Books $15 avaiable on August 4th before and after Worship.

Sunday, August 4th - "Change is inevitable—growth is optional."

Scripture: Numbers 13:25-33

Main Idea: Change is an inherent part of life and faith. While our circumstances change, God remains. Embracing change requires trust in the unchanging nature of Christ.

Sunday, August 11th - "Adaptability is Key—but not the end goal."

Scripture: 1 Corinthians 9:22-27

Main Idea: Being adaptable and open to new methods or perspectives helps us effectively share Christ’s message and fulfill our mission, but winning the world isn't the goal.

Sunday, August 18th - "Danger is very real—but fear is a choice"

Scripture: 2 Corinthians 12:1-10

Main Idea: Fear often hinders us from moving forward. By relying on God’s power and presence, we can overcome our fears and take courageous steps in our faith journey.

Sunday, August 25th - "Proactivity vs. Reactivity"

Scripture: Romans 12:9-17

Main Idea: Being proactive in our faith and actions leads to better outcomes than merely reacting to circumstances. God calls us to actively engage with His Word and make deliberate choices.

Sunday, September 1st - "In Spite of Your Fear"

Scripture: Romans 5:1-11

Main Idea: Embracing challenges as opportunities for growth helps us develop endurance and character. God uses trials to refine and strengthen us in our journey of faith.

Sunday, September 8th - "More than motivated to accomplish it."

Scripture: Romans 4:16-25

Main Idea: Success is not just about personal achievement but about spiritual transformation, victory in Christ, living by the Spirit, fostering unity, and trusting in God’s promises. Visualize yourself achieving the goal.
