In Loving Memory of Peter Rogers

With heavy hearts and hope in the Resurrection, we celebrate the life of a remarkable man, Peter Rogers. Born in Woodstock, IL, Peter touched the lives of many during his 85 years on this earth. His journey led him to Tavares, Florida, in 1976 from San Antonio, Texas, where he built a life filled with love, passion, and unwavering faith.

Remembering Peter with Love

Peter is survived by his devoted wife of 64 years, Sharon, who stood by his side through thick and thin. He leaves behind his sister, Susan Strand, and his loving sons, Wade Rogers, Gregg Rogers, and Darryl Rogers, along with their respective families. His pride and joy were his grandchildren, Bria Hussain, Brian Rogers, Jenna Nutter, and his great-granddaughter, Stella Rogers.

A Life Well-Lived: Peter Rogers' Legacy

Pete was not just a man but often a beacon of light where he went. His legacy and stories are a testament to the wonderful person he was. Peter Rogers spent 35 years in the wholesale floral and greens business and even owned a steel manufacturing business. His dedication and hard work were truly commendable.

Beyond his business endeavors, Peter was an avid enthusiast of automobiles. He served as the past president of the Central Florida Porsche Club and later as the president of the MG Club of Central Florida. His love for cars brought joy and camaraderie to fellow enthusiasts, creating lasting memories and friendships.

Peter's connection to the community extended to his spiritual life as well. He was a dedicated elder and choir member at the First Presbyterian Church of Eustis, where he found solace in his faith and community. His commitment to service also shone through as a member of SCORE (Service Corp of Retired Executives), where he shared his wealth of knowledge and experience with others.
